Follower settings explained
On/off, size, contract, max contracts and copy on, for each follower.
Updated
Each follower in a group has five settings.
On / Off
Off means the follower stays in the group but gets no new orders. Use it to pause one account.
Size
How big the follower's order is, times the leader's.
- 1 = same size. 2 = double. 0.5 = half.
- From 0.1 to 20, one decimal at most.
- The result is rounded to whole contracts. An exact half rounds down, toward less risk.
- If it rounds to 0, nothing is sent for that order.
Example: the leader buys 3 and the size is 0.5. That is 1.5, so the follower buys 1.
Contract
- Same: the same contract as the leader.
- Mini: map to the mini contract (MNQ → NQ).
- Micro: map to the micro contract (NQ → MNQ).
Use this when a follower account may only trade micros, or when you want smaller risk on one account. Mapping works for products that have a mini and a micro, for example NQ and MNQ, or ES and MES. If the app does not know the pair, it does not copy. It never guesses.
Max contracts
The largest position this follower may hold in one market. Default 5. From 1 to 200.
If an order would go past the cap, the app sends only up to the cap. Set this to your prop firm's limit for that account size. Many firms close accounts that go over.
Copy on
- Order sent: the follower copies the leader's order at once, when the leader sends it.
- Fill: the follower copies only when the leader's order fills.
Tip
Keep followers on Same with size 1 unless you have a reason. The simpler the group, the easier it is to check.
