Terms of Service
Updated
In short: TwinCopier is desktop software for macOS. It copies orders from one of your own trading accounts to your other own trading accounts. You pay a monthly or yearly subscription and you can cancel at any time. Payments go through Link, a Stripe company, which is the merchant of record for the payment; we are the seller of the software. You may only use TwinCopier on accounts that belong to you. We do not give trading advice and we do not promise any result. You must follow the rules of your broker and your prop firms. Trading futures can lose you money, and a copier repeats each loss on every account it copies to. Payments are final, except where the law gives you a right to withdraw: if you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you have 14 days from your first payment.
1. Who we are
TwinCopier is sold by Ai-Driven, owned by Anas Al Qatanani, Lodjurstråket 1, 417 51 Göteborg, Sweden ("we", "us"). VAT number: SE000320913701. Phone: +46 73 521 32 22. Email: [email protected] for help, [email protected] for legal questions. All our details are on the imprint page.
These terms are a contract between you and us. They apply when you create an account, start a trial, buy a subscription, or use the app. The EULA, the Privacy Policy, the Refund and Withdrawal Policy and the Risk Disclaimer are part of these terms.
2. What TwinCopier is
- A desktop app. It runs on your own computer and sends orders to your broker for you. It needs macOS (macOS 12 or later), an internet connection, and an account with a supported broker. Windows is coming soon.
- Leader and followers. You pick one leader account and one or more follower accounts. When you trade on the leader, the app places matching orders on the followers, with the settings you choose (for example size and contract).
- An account server. It handles your login, your computer, your subscription and your licence.
- Brokers we support: Rithmic, Tradovate and TopstepX (ProjectX). The current list is on our website.
- First open on a Mac. The app is not yet notarised by Apple. The first time you open it, macOS asks you to allow it once (System Settings, Privacy & Security, "Open Anyway").
TwinCopier is software. We are not a broker, a bank, an investment firm or an adviser. We never hold your money, and we cannot see or move money in your trading accounts.
3. Who may use it
- You must be at least 18 years old and able to make a binding contract.
- You can use TwinCopier as a private person (a consumer) or for your business.
- You must not use TwinCopier if you are on a sanctions list, or if the law of your country does not allow you to use it.
4. Your account
- Give a correct email address and keep it up to date. We send important notices there.
- Keep your password secret. You are responsible for what happens under your account, unless it is our fault.
- One account is for one person. Do not share it.
- Number of computers that can use your account at the same time: 1. To use a new computer, remove the old one on your account page.
- Tell us at once at [email protected] if you think someone else is using your account.
5. Free trial
- New users can try TwinCopier free for 7 days, with the full Copier + Guard plan. With a creator code, the trial is 30 days.
- The trial does not need a payment card. If you do not add one, nothing is charged: when the trial ends, the app stops starting new copy groups until you choose a paid plan. If you add a card during the trial, the first charge is on the day the trial ends.
- One trial per person.
6. Plans, prices and payment
Plans. Each plan is billed monthly or yearly:
- Copier: US$49.99 a month, or US$499.99 a year (that is US$41.67 a month).
- Copier + Guard: US$69.99 a month, or US$699.99 a year (that is US$58.33 a month).
Launch offer. If you buy on or before 30 November (2026-11-30), you get 50% off. Monthly: the first 3 months cost US$24.99 (Copier) or US$34.99 (Copier + Guard) a month; then the normal monthly price applies. Yearly: the first year costs US$249.99 (Copier, US$20.83 a month) or US$349.99 (Copier + Guard, US$29.17 a month); then the normal yearly price applies.
Tax. Prices are in US dollars. VAT or sales tax is added where it applies. Checkout shows the full price, with tax, before you pay. Checkout may offer to show and charge the price in your own currency; the rate is shown before you pay.
Who takes the payment. Payments are handled by Stripe through its Managed Payments service. At checkout, the payment is taken by Link (Sold through Link, LLC, a Stripe company), which is the merchant of record for the payment. Link charges you, collects and pays the tax, and sends your receipts and invoices in its own name. Your card statement shows "LINK.COM*" followed by our name. Link's own terms apply to the payment: the Sold Through Link Terms. We are the seller of TwinCopier and are responsible for the software, these terms and your rights under them. We never see or store your full card number.
Renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, at the price then in force, until you cancel. You get an email reminder before a yearly plan renews.
Failed payment. If a payment fails, the charge is tried again for a short time and you are told by email. If it still fails, your licence ends and the app stops starting new copy groups (see section 10).
Price changes. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a new price applies to you. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the new price starts. A launch offer that ends, as described above, is not a price change.
7. Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time, in a few clicks, on your account page (Billing) or in your Link account at link.com. You do not need to give a reason.
- When you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for. Then it ends, and you are not charged again.
- Cancelling does not give a refund for the rest of the period, except as stated in the Refund and Withdrawal Policy or where the law gives you a right to one.
8. Your right to withdraw, and refunds
Payments are final. The exception is the law: if you are a consumer in the EU, the EEA or the UK, you may withdraw within 14 days of your first paid payment and get that payment back in full. We do not ask you to give up this right. It does not cover renewals or plan changes. Use the "Withdraw from contract" button on your account page or email [email protected]. Customers elsewhere get no refund, except where their own country's mandatory law requires one. Link may also give a refund under its own policy, as merchant of record. The details and the withdrawal form are in the Refund and Withdrawal Policy.
9. Your licence to use the app
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to install and use the app while your trial or subscription is active. The EULA explains this licence.
10. How the app works, and its limits
Please read this section carefully.
- It runs on your computer. The app copies only while your computer is on, awake, online and running the app. If your computer sleeps, loses power or loses the internet, copying stops.
- It depends on others. Your broker, its servers, its API and your internet connection must all work. We do not control them.
- Copies can fail. An order on a follower can be late, filled at a different price, filled in part, rejected or not sent at all. Accounts can end up with different positions.
- You must watch your accounts. Check your positions in your broker's own platform. Know how to close a position there, without the app.
- Licence ends, positions stay. When your licence ends, the app stops starting new copy groups and tells you. Groups that are running keep running. The licence never closes, changes or opens a position.
- Settings are yours. You choose the accounts, sizes, contracts and safety switches. Check them before you trade live. Test on demo or simulated accounts first.
The Risk Disclaimer has more on these risks.
11. Acceptable use
You may use TwinCopier only on trading accounts that belong to you, held in your own name (or in the name of your own company).
You must not:
- copy to, from or for an account that belongs to someone else, or manage other people's money with it;
- sell, share or broadcast trade signals with it, or run a copy-trading or signal service with it;
- resell, rent out or share the app, your account or your licence;
- get around the licence check, the computer limit or any safety feature;
- reverse engineer, decompile or change the app, except where the law allows it and you cannot give up that right;
- attack, overload or probe our servers, or use them to send spam or harmful code;
- use TwinCopier to break any law, or the terms of your broker, your data provider or your prop firm.
We may suspend your account if you break these rules (see section 17).
12. No advice, no promised results
- TwinCopier does not tell you what, when or how much to trade. Every trade starts with you.
- Nothing we write, show or say is investment, financial, tax or legal advice.
- We make no promise of profit or performance.
- You alone decide whether trading and copying are right for you.
13. Broker and prop-firm rules are your job
- Your broker and each prop firm have their own rules. Many limit or ban copiers, hedging across accounts, automation, the number of funded accounts, or how orders are placed. Some allow only copiers on their approved list.
- You must read and follow those rules. A broken rule can cost you an account or a payout. We are not responsible for that.
- The app may show warnings or blocks, for example for a hedge across accounts, an account a firm does not allow, or a size limit. These are aids only. They may be incomplete or out of date. They do not replace your own check.
- Any list of prop firms on our website is general information, checked on the date shown. Rules change often.
- We are not part of, approved by or partnered with any broker or prop firm, unless we say so in writing.
14. Your broker connection
- You connect your broker accounts in the app. Your broker passwords and API keys stay on your own computer. They are never sent to our servers.
- If you sign in to a broker on the broker's own login page (for example Tradovate), the broker gives the app an access token. Where our server helps with this hand-off, it holds the token encrypted for at most 15 minutes, only until your app picks it up, and then deletes it.
- Your contract with your broker stays between you and your broker. Its fees (for example API or market data fees) are yours to pay.
15. Service availability
- We work to keep the account server and downloads available, but we cannot promise that they are always available or free of errors.
- We may pause the service for maintenance. We try to do it outside main US market hours and to tell you first.
- If the account server cannot be reached, the app keeps working with the licence it already has for up to 3 days after its last daily check. The app tells you when it needs to go online.
16. Changes to the app and to these terms
- We improve the app over time. We may change the app for a valid reason, for example to keep up with a broker, for security, or to improve it. Changes are free of charge.
- If a change makes the app clearly worse for you, we tell you in good time first, on a durable medium such as email. You may then end the contract for free within 30 days of the change, and we refund the unused part of the period you have paid for.
- We may change these terms. We tell you by email at least 30 days before a material change applies. If you do not agree, you can cancel before the change starts. Small fixes, such as typos or new contact details, can apply at once.
17. Suspension and termination
- You can stop at any time: cancel your subscription, and ask us at [email protected] to delete your account.
- We may suspend or close your account if you seriously break these terms, do not pay, use the service for fraud, or if the law requires it. Where we can, we warn you first and give you time to fix it.
- If we close your account without a reason you caused, we refund the unused part of any period you have paid for.
- Some sections still apply after the contract ends: 12, 13, 18, 19, 20 and 22.
18. Faults and your legal rights
- If you are a consumer, the law gives you rights when digital content or a digital service is faulty (in Sweden: konsumentköplagen 2022:260; in the EU: the Digital Content Directive). For example, you can ask us to fix it, get a price cut, or in some cases end the contract and get money back. These terms do not limit those rights.
- If something does not work, contact [email protected]. Tell us what happened and when. We fix it within a reasonable time and at no cost to you.
19. Our liability
- We are liable for loss we cause on purpose or by gross negligence, for death or personal injury we cause, and in any other case where the law does not let us limit our liability. Nothing in these terms changes that.
- Apart from that, and as far as the law allows:
- we are not liable for trading losses, missed trades, slippage, lost profit, lost prop-firm accounts or payouts, or other indirect loss;
- we are not liable for problems caused by your broker, your prop firm, your internet, your computer, your settings, or by anything else outside our reasonable control;
- our total liability to you for all claims together is limited to the amount you paid for TwinCopier in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim.
- If you are a consumer, this section applies only as far as the consumer law of your country allows. You keep every right that law gives you.
20. Your responsibility to us (business users)
If you use TwinCopier for a business and you break these terms or the law, you cover our reasonable costs from claims by others that this causes. This section does not apply to consumers.
21. Transfer
You may not transfer this contract to someone else. We may transfer it to a company we own or control (for example a limited company that takes over the business), or to a buyer of the business, if your rights are not reduced. We tell you by email first.
22. Complaints, disputes and governing law
- Talk to us first. Write to [email protected] or call +46 73 521 32 22. We answer within 5 working days. Questions about a charge can also go to Link support at support.link.com.
- Consumers in Sweden can take a dispute to the National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN), www.arn.se, Box 174, 101 23 Stockholm. We take part in ARN's process.
- Consumers in another EU country can get free help from the European Consumer Centre in their country (ECC-Net). In Sweden this is Konsument Europa, www.konsumenteuropa.se.
- Governing law: Swedish law applies, without its rules on choice of law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
- Courts: Swedish courts decide disputes. If you are a consumer, you can also bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live, and we can only sue you there.
23. Other terms
- If a court finds part of these terms invalid, the rest still applies.
- If we do not enforce a right at once, we do not give it up.
- These terms are written in English. If we give you a translation and the two differ, the English text applies, unless your consumer law says otherwise.
- We send notices to the email address on your account. You can send notices to [email protected].
- These terms, with the documents named in section 1, are the whole agreement between you and us about TwinCopier. Link's terms cover only the payment.
