Install on macOS

Download, open and allow the app on a Mac.

Needs

  • macOS 12 (Monterey) or newer. Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
  • About 400 MB free disk space.

Steps

  1. Go to /download and choose macOS.
  2. Open the downloaded .dmg file. It is one file for Apple silicon and Intel Macs.
  3. Drag the app into Applications.
  4. Open it from Applications. The first time, macOS says it cannot check the app and shows Done. Press Done.
  5. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security. Scroll down to the line about TwinCopier and press Open Anyway. Confirm with your Mac password or Touch ID.
  6. The app opens. macOS remembers your choice, so you only do this once.
  7. Sign in with your TwinCopier email and password.

On macOS 14 (Sonoma) or older you can also Control-click the app in Applications, choose Open, then Open again.

Only open the real app

  • Download only from /download or your account page. We never send installers by email or chat.
  • Never press "Open Anyway" for a copy you got from someone else.

Keep the Mac awake

Copying stops when the Mac sleeps. In System Settings › Displays › Advanced (or Battery › Options), stop the Mac from sleeping while it is plugged in during your trading hours.

Updates

The app checks for new versions by itself and tells you when one is out. Download it from your account page and install it the same way. Install when you are flat, never in the middle of a trade.
