Safety switches and kill switches
No hedging, Close with leader, Clean up on cancel, Position check, and the kill switches in the top bar.
Updated
Each group has four safety switches. They guard against the mistakes that make prop firms close accounts. Both plans include them: Copier and Copier + Guard.
1. No hedging (default on)
The app skips any copy that would hold both sides of a market. It checks all your connected accounts, not just the group. A contract and its micro count as one market (NQ and MNQ). US stock-index futures count as one market too (ES, NQ, YM, RTY). Long ES on one account and short NQ on another counts as a hedge.
Most prop firms ban this, even across different firms. Keep it on. When it skips a copy, you get a Hedge blocked alert.
2. Close with leader (default on)
When the leader goes flat, the followers close the same position. A follower is never left in a trade after the leader's stop or target fills.
3. Clean up on cancel (default on)
When the leader cancels and is flat in that market, the followers close too. Their orders in that market are cancelled and their positions closed. Turn it off if you often cancel and enter again on purpose.
4. Position check (default off)
This fixes a follower that drifts from the leader. It only reduces or closes a follower. It never adds.
What the switches never do
- They never open a new trade by themselves.
- They act only on accounts in your groups.
Kill switches
The top bar has three kill switches. Each one asks before it acts.
- Stop all copying: every group stops. Positions stay open.
- Cancel orders: cancels every working order on every connected account, leaders included. Positions stay open.
- Flatten all: stops the groups, then cancels and closes everything, leaders included.
Smaller ones:
- Per group: Flatten all and Cancel orders.
- Per account: Flatten, also on each row of the Live page.
- Per position: Close.
